John List: Field Experiments on Trial

List will discuss how field experiments are increasingly shaping high-stakes legal decisions. Drawing on his experience as an expert witness in the 2010 BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill case and FTC v. Meta (2025), he will examine how large-scale experimental evidence informed multibillion-dollar outcomes and judicial reasoning.
